Throughout scripture, God reflects His love for us through promises of healing and health. Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Matthew, Peter, and John are but some of the writers inspired by the Holy Spirit to write God's heart on the subject. Scripture is very clear--God loves us. We are His children, and He wants us well. An all-out effort to embrace and internalize the promises of healing found in the Word of God increases faith and helps us realize those promises.

"Lord, do You care? Do You see me?" These questions and many more like them rest on the minds of millions of adults and teenagers, many of whom confess Christ as Lord of their lives. Scripture provides the answer to these questions through promises of comfort and tender loving care graced to us by a loving Father. God deeply desires to shower His children with the love He expresses in His Word. God and His Word are one (John 1:1) By filling ourselves with His Word, we are filling ourselves with Who He is, and He IS love. Grief and hopelessness are dispelled through this rich love of God, and it's all found in His Word.

Abuse and betrayal can lead its victims to dark places that foster feelings of shame, anxiety, anger, disgust, depression, the list goes on. These negative feelings nestle themselves in a cloak of unforgiveness which holds its victims hostage and subject to a life of bitterness. God's Word helps us and shows us how to forgive from the heart, even if the one to be forgiven is you. Your choice to embrace the promises of God will ultimately release you from the bondage of unforgiveness and bless you to live a victorious life!

As children of God, knowing who we are in Him is critical to our being able to live victorious lives in Christ. A life of freedom belongs to us--it's our birthright as a result of the born again experience! We are God's children--family members of His household! We are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ! No weapon formed against us shall prosper! We are more than conquerors through Jesus! Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly! In 2019, I experienced a full blown stroke with extreme weakness and verbal issues. Two days after that I was in intensive care due to a brain bleed. Of course I had a lot of people praying for me. But I was also quoting God’s Word over my situation because I believe the Word of God is the power force behind our healing, our deliverance, and our provision…no matter what. I woke up one night to an overwhelming sense of claustrophobia. I'd randomly felt this feeling in times past, and each time I resisted and prayed against it. I'd then feel better and I gave God the praise. Some weeks later, I woke up to that sense of claustrophobia accompanied by alarming levels of anxiety. I felt that I needed to run outside to get air. But I had been reading God's Medicine Scriptures for Victory on a daily basis and rather than succumb to what I felt, my faith immediately launched an all out counterattack against the enemy. I pulled the covers up over my head and said to the enemy, "I'm not going anywhere! God's Word is true! I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ! One of us is leaving, and it certainly is not going to be me!" All of the claustrophobia, all the anxiety left and, I have walked in victory ever since!
